Corporate InformationPresentation to European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD)

The EBRD is the largest development bank in the World with offices in 27 countries of operation in the Former Soviet Union. The EBRD has a Trade Facilitation Programme (TFP) which was initiated by the bank with assistance from Vincent O’Brien, China Systems' Technical Trade Adviser. The TFP has participation of about 100 issuing banks based in EBRD countries of operation and some 500 confirming banks World-wide. The TFP now accounts for approximately 10% of the turnover of the EBRD.
An excellent presentation was delivered by Mike Amos, China Systems' Client Services Director for Europe and America, with support from Tony Marks of the European Sales Group. Mr. Rudolf Putz, Head of the EBRD TFP shows interest in the system that could link all his Issuing Bank through EBRD to the Confirming Banks,The features of Eximbills Enterprise as related by Mike Amos were of most interest.

Sponsorship of ‘UCP Revision’ ICC Banking Commission Meeting in Dublin

This ICC Banking Commission meeting organised by the Irish National Committee was dedicated to the revision of the UCP. For the first time in the history of ICC Banking Commission meetings a number of sponsorship and display opportunities were offered to
select organisations. The sponsors were DCPro, AIB Bank, Bank of Ireland, eBSI, GTR and China Systems/ET.

This event was attended by senior trade bankers
from more than 100 countries. The programme also
included a presentation from Mr.Rudolf Putz,
Head of EBRD TFP.

China Systems sponsors 2005 annual Survey of LC Law & Practice Conference in Shanghai, Hong Kong and Singapore .  |

China Systems Corporation recently sponsored the 2005 Annual Survey of Letter of Credit Law and Practice Conference held in Shanghai , Hong Kong and Singapore last July 2005.
The conference picks up the various laws and procedures governing Letters of Credit as well as problems that surround it.
Among the guest speakers who were present during the conference was Vincent O' Brien, technical advisor of China Systems, a highly experienced practitioner in the field of international trade finance and documentary credits.
Top decision makers from the banking and finance sector, as well as those from the legal industry have attended the conference. Directors from Mizuho Bank, Thai Military Bank, Thanachart Bank, Siam commercial Bank , were also present.
Eximbills Enterprise was presented during these three events, with product demonstrations conducted by Lily Su, Marketing Manager and Maria Tu of Eximbills Enterprise development team. Also present during these events were Wen Zonghe, General Manager of China Systems Nanjing and Luo Wenbin, SWIFT's specialist.

ICC Roadshow ‘Tools for International Trade. Hanoi, Vietnam (1 August) and Taipei,
Taiwan (3 August )  |
Workshops on UCP and International Standard Banking Practice was held in Hanoi and Taipei
with Vincent O' Brien, presented as the Technical Trade Adviser of China Systems.
The events were attended by approximately 200 delegates in total with approximately 50% of the delegates coming from the trade banking sector.

August 5, 2005 – Manila , Philippines . The Philippine Chamber of Commerce Industry (PCCI), International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and Confederation of Asia-Pacific Chambers of Commerce & Industry (CACCI) held a one day seminar called ‘Tools for International Business' at Dusit Hotel Nikko. Guests came from various industries where the speakers discuss topics that cover international trade contracts (INCOTERMS 2000), international standard banking practices (ISBP) and commercial arbitration. The speakers were leading experts in the international trade industry:
Vincent O'Brien, a highly experienced practitioner in the Finance of International Trade and Documentary Credits. He has more than 20 years international trade banking experience and has delivered technical assistance and training in more than 50 countries worldwide. Vincent is a Technical Trade Advisor of China Systems.
Christoph Martin Radtke, a partner of Lamy and Associes, Lyon et Paris. He specializes in the international trade law, international arbitration and litigation, agency and distribution. He gained expertise as a key officer in the Commission of Commercial Law and Practice in ICC Paris and Arbitration Commission of the French German Chamber of Commerce.
Joanne Long Ms. Long, a graduate from Cambridge University with a masters' degree in Law is an expert on International Trade and Shipping Law, and also obtained a distinction in Advance Company Law and Corporate Securities Regulations. Ms. Long obtained her bachelors degree in Law from University of East Anglia , England and is a member of the Honorable Society of the Middle Temple and was admitted to the bar of England and Wales in 1984 and the bar of Malaya in 1986.
