The first quarter of 2004 has started well for China Systems
with a contract from Standard Chartered Bank, Dubai, for
the installation in their Gulf operations for our new flagship
product Eximbills Enterprise(EE).
Standard Chartered Bank is committed to J2EE technology
and the selection of EE sees the continual drive for processing
financial transactions on this architecture.
Eximbills Enterprise will seamlessly connect to SCB’s
core processing system eBBS and other systems using IBM
MQ messaging delivery. eBBS is the new “back-end”
system currently being deployed by SCB worldwide. eBBS is
also built on J2EE technology. Eximbills Enterprise will
be used to replace the business functionality of the SCB
PC-LAN solution, that is currently installed in the Middle
East supporting many GCC countries.
Standard Chartered Bank is the world's leading emerging
markets bank, headquartered in London. Its businesses have
always been overwhelmingly international. Standard Chartered
Bank employs 30,000 people in over 500 locations in more
than 50 countries in the Asia Pacific Region, South Asia,
the Middle East, Africa, the United Kingdom and the Americas.
It is one of the world's most international banks.
