Dubai, October 11, 2004, China Systems proudly announces the successful implementation and roll-out of CS Eximbills version 4. Seylan Bank has implemented and cut-over to live production the Import Letters of Credit, Export Letters of Credit and Remittance Processing System in a project which covers the core business scope and several subsystems. Version 4 is the latest release of CS Eximbills which has been introduced to offer significant new capabilities as part of China Systems ongoing enhancement of its product range.

CS Eximbills supports the full-suite of trade finance products of the bank including the Import and Export Letters of Credit, Import and Export loans, Collections and Remittances. With CS Eximbills version 4.0, Seylan Bank can now offer web services for direct access by their clients through Customer Access System (CAS). Moreover, as added operational support, PrExim is provided to allow branches to capture applications and submit them electronically to the processing centre.

CS Eximbills version 4.0 offers a powerful tool for directing the flow of information and for controlling the business process while helping to achieve the overall business goal of the organization.

The implementation is a joint effort between Seylan Bank, China Systems Middle East and the Technical Support Group in China Systems Nanjing Development Centre, which has greatly contributed to the success of this project. This significantly reduced the cost to the bank while maximizing the benefits of China Systems support resources.
