Bank of China's GTS System Integration based on Eximbills Enterprise Is on Track

April, 2008. China Systems, the world's leading trade services solutions vendor, announced that the integration of its J2EE-based trade solution Eximbills Enterprise with Bank of China's (BOC) other business processing systems is progressing smoothly, as planned.

Eximbills Enterprise ™ is an established global standard installed by many international banks to meet their trade services processing requirements. It combines a Rapid Application Development toolkit with a flexible base business model, providing support for Traditional Trade, Open Account, Supply Chain Finance, and Payments operations.

BOC's licensing of Eximbills Enterprise is aimed to meet the bank's sophisticated centralized business processing requirements. The new International settlement and trade finance business processing system (internally called GTS) will improve resource efficiency, prompt risk control at management level, integrate innovative management concepts, and improve the overall quality of the bank's service offering.

The project targets completion by 2009 and will integrate Eximbills Enterprise with BOC's business process management, electronic document management and reporting systems, among others. The GTS system boasts of strong ease of use, excellent performance, high scalability, and can handle both current and future business requirements as they arise.
