The Total Trade Finance and Payments Solution inherits and expands the parameter-driven architecture of previous version of Eximbills, the flagship product of China Systems, to include these most advanced of e-commerce applications in providing assistance for all trade-related services using new instruments. Eximbills has evolved from an initial Wang-based design through PC LAN and AS/400 to the Client Server version in use today.

The Total Trade Finance and Payments Solution runs on J2EE, an accepted industry standard platform endorsed by many major enterprise computing players (IBM, Sun Microsystems, BEA, Oracle, and others) and qualified vendors that provide the tools and enhancements for a complete solution.

- Eximbills Enterprise
An integrated system that automates and audits the complete cycle of trade finance and payment transactions, in real time and in accordance with SWIFT and UCP standards. This allows for a rapid yet comprehensive installation, especially for implementations running on a strict time scale.
- Customer Enterprise
An adaptable and easy-to-use solution that provides extensive trade finance functions for bank customers, such as Import Letters of Credit, Export Letters of Credit, Guarantees, Payments, and Collections.
This internet-based front-end solution allows the banks’ import and export customers to send and receive trade finance transactions with minimal effort and maximum speed. It enables banks to offer sophisticated supply chain management services to all their clients.

- BPM Solution
China Systems’ Total Trade Finance and Payments Solution has an open
architecture and can, if the bank would require this, interface with the leading Business Process Management (BPM) tools, to even more actively drive the business processes and communication between the bank’s different business units, departments, and business users.
Aside from the Workflow capabilities, the BPM interface component of
the Total Trade Finance and Payments Solution serves as a gateway, providing greater integration capabilities to multiple systems.
- ECM Solution
Our Enterprise platform has been designed for easy integration with an Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solution that specifically takes care of the digitising and managing of business documents, in order to facilitate the highly efficient storage, delivery, and retrieval of information throughout the bank’s organisation.
Based on the transaction’s unique reference, our solution establishes a link with the ECM solution’s repository, so that the user can inquire on transaction-related documents, from within our solution.
- Electronic Trade Document Support
In addition to the existing functionality, our Customer Enterprise solution can be used to generate electronic trade documentation in multiple formats, including XML, to support initiatives such as Bolero. This provides a single window solution for a corporate customer’s complete trade processing needs.
China Systems closely monitors the developments in the area of electronic trade documentation to ensure that our solutions remain sufficiently flexible to cater for the rapidly changing needs of the various initiatives.
- OLAP
To complement Eximbills Enterprise’s On-line Transactional Processing (OLTP) capability, a data repository facility is provided to support an On- line Analytical Processing (OLAP) system to enable management to access and analyse operational data based on past performance and make decisions that will improve future performance.
The OLAP repository, the Total Trade Finance and Payments Solution’s report writer tool, may be configured based on the end-users’ requirements into a specific format that fits the needs of the bank’s Trade Finance department.
